hello friends,

i want to ask one doubt, regarding partitions, how many partitions should I make for installing 3 os windows xp sp2,ubuntu, and solaris, are 4 enough, my lappy config is 512ddr2 ram,80gb harddisk1.73ghz processor.

how do i install all of them simultaneously.

Garbage

God of Mistakes...
U need different partitions to install these 3 different operating systems.

And please install it as - XP, then Solaris and lastly Ubuntu.

Why not keep one OS which you will mostly use and run rest of them in Virtualization using apps like Virtual PC, VmWare etc :)

I do not suggest installing any OS with virtualization primarily because of only 512mb ram, secondly coz the full potential is not exploited.

However, if you are not comfortable with partitioning and fear data loss, I'd suggest using VMWare or VirtualBox anyday.
