I have an Old HCL Beanstalk Desktop!

Will I be able to install & run a 1TB Internal HardDisk?

Hi,

I assume you do not have any SATA port under this motherboard, hence I doubt that there wont any chance of direct installation..

However you can always use an USB connector to connect any size of hard-drive..

Give exact model number of the motherboard. Best check on MSI official website and find out whether it has a SATA 2.0 port. I assume it must have this. How old is your computer? If it does have a SATA port, then your HDD will work like a charm. 1TB Seagate 7200.12 is for 4k and WD Green 1TB is for 4.1k.

If not, then go for an external HDD like the WD My Book Essential Edition 1TB @ 5.1k, which uses a USB interface, but will need an external power source, i.e., a spare plug-point.

You can.

But first check for SATA ports.

If you dont have SATA ports then check whether you have an empty PCI slot.

if yes then get a PCI SATA card and insert it and then connect it to your 1TB HDD.

That should solve your problem
