IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE SEEN THIS ERROR SCREEN RESTART YOUR
COMPUTER. IF THIS SCREEN APPEARS AGAIN FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

This is because xp doesn't contain sata drivers. Either you may get XP drivers and integrate it with nlite. There are tutorials in the net about this. another way is disable sata in the bios by using ide instead of ahci. The error is because xp is not able to access the hard disk. By using sata mode, there is not much improvement in speed. This I have personally experienced in my Laptop, by using both the methods.

Thanks for the information. I have one more question. I have another HDD that was being used on my desktop. The desktop was running win XP SP2. I have taken that HDD and connected it to my laptop using an IDE to USB connector. So my laptop gets the HDD as an USB HDD. Now at the time of booting the laptop if I choose the USB HDD as the boot device, XP starts booting but just after showing the XP loading logo, the system crashes and restarts.
Can U explain this? any solution to this?
