Indian fighter jets violate Pakistan air space

ISLAMABAD: Indian fighter planes Saturday violated Pakistan’s air space by entering two places in Kashmir and Lahore.

Planes of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), which were already on alert, quickly came into action and forced the India’s fighter jets to leave Pakistan air space, Geo TV sources said.

The sources further said that the Indian planes were fully equipped with warheads.

Meanwhile, a state run TV channel has reported that a loud blast was heard in Arabian Sea between Badin and Jati cities Saturday night.

However, further details about the blast were not received.

The cause and exact location of the blast is being ascertained.

The local people were in a state of fear after the blast, sources said.

The cake is a lie!!!
Hmmm....Maybe the IAF's intention is to intimidate Pak as if being there for surgical strikes or even piss them off. :D
Though there is no mention about this incident in any Indian news service, so the news may not be true after all.

Hates when the media shows no neutrality.

Read this on BBC.

'No need for alarm'

The director of public relations for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) said the Indian aircraft had violated Pakistani airspace on two separate occasions on Saturday.

"Both the Indian aircraft entered into Pakistan's airspace between two to four nautical miles at two different sectors," Air Commodore Humyun Viqar told Associated Press of Pakistan news agency.

He said Pakistani jets had responded, forcing the Indian aircraft to turn back.

Pakistan's information minister confirmed the incursion and said officials had "spoken to the Indian air force and they have said it was inadvertent".

"Our air force is on alert and ready to face any eventuality, but we do not expect this to escalate," Ms Rehman said. "There is no need for alarm."

Correspondents say the Indian air force has been very careful in recent years to stop its warplanes from straying into Pakistani airspace.

Two jets were shot down during the Kargil conflict in 1999, although India says they were in its own airspace at the time.

Though there is no mention about this incident in any Indian news service, so the news may not be true after all.
Lol, Indian news channels aren't so good at it, they'll do what the people want to hear. Ironically, this would spark Pakistani media to talk a lot more about the, as they claim, da-evil-India.

At least we can believe that INDIAN air force has working planes  ! ROFL
BTW they FEAR us they know we will TORTURE them for any mistakes they make.

btw, i still dnt belive thm...no evidence...

He said that this Indian action reveals its nefarious design against the sovereignty of Pakistan and termed, “Indian version that it violated Pakistan air spaces by mistakes, a lamb excuse”, as he maintained, “Mistake can be committed once not twice.”

seems like they want a reason to start a war...desperate get thr ass nailed :D

IAF should ask for evidence. Period.
Anyway, what difference does it make? :???:
AFAIK, Pak has violated that 92-93 treaty far more than India.

how was kashmir made a part of India ? Its people decided that sometime after partition.
but pakistan then occupies part of it and claims its theirs.
WTF ?
THATS what I call violation - not just of airspace, also of landspace - lots of it.

^Indians call that part of kashmir POK or pakistan occupied kashmir, Pakistanis call the Indian part of Kashmir IOK or indian occupied kashmir...AFAIK What happened was during the indo-pak war, pakistan attacked kashmir and "occupied" part of it so india attacked pak and nearly reached islamabad but then pak went running to UN and india was forced to retreat out of pakistans border and a cease-fire was ordered on kashmir so that really meant that india could not get back the part of kashmir that pak occupied.

Pressure is mounting from all sides on Pak. I saw an IAF spokesperson correctly stating that this was a diversionary ploy by the Pak Army to make India change topics from "grilling" Pak's Govt to violating a treaty not even respected by Pak :D

Though what we are claiming regarding kashmir is correct, but the history also tells, how with time the bangles on our parliament has grown bigger and bigger..and now it has become so famine that manmohan is sharing it with congress's jai mata di..

anyway, back to topic..abt airforce violations..well..such violation does occur, and the only wat to confirm is to read airforce's words.
so..imo, both pakistan's claim and india's claim are correct...
which are: pakistan: indian fighters violated pak air space.
india: no we didn't, we were on routine flight on our air space.
