imported mobile phone from ebay

I want to buy a new phone and i saw on ebay that Sony Ericsson xperia mini pro unlocked is selling for rs 10000 where as on flipkart it is at 14000. please tell me that if it is worth buying from ebay or not. please help.

You will not get manufacturer warranty with that if you buy it from ebay

well i am going to upgrade that phone to ics(as i have seen that ics updates are coming) so no use of the warranty.just wanting your advice if they are fraud or something...or they are doing it illegally

Upgrading your phone to ICS won't void the warranty.
