I'm planning on getting a new guitar by the end of this year.

Can you guys please suggest which one of the above is the best and reasons for the same.

I currently have Yamaha Pacifica 112.

What am I looking for?
High gain on A and low E string between 12th and 22nd Frets.

What I can live with?
fixed or floating bridge - I never use the Whammy bar (I can bend the strings :))

Why do I Want a new guitar?
On my current guitar I have tried changing the height of the pickups but it did not help.
I took a cheap guitar from a friend of mine which had a humbucker at the neck and it was so loud :shock:
At the same time I tried his (another cheap guitar, it was givson or java can't remember) which had a single coil pickup at the neck and it was the same as my pacifica. (low sound)

All these guitars fall in the same budget category and are not really an upgrade over your pacifica. In fact pacificas are very highly regarded beginner guitars and have better build quality than other budget ones. As for the volume, the single coil pickup at the neck is probably a low-output one more suitable for styles like jazz and pop. Have you tried using the bridge pickup only? You can swap out the neck pickup for a high output single coil like a diMarzio or Seymour Duncan for around 5-6k instead of buying a new guitar.

this is the correct answer. not worth buying another guitar around 20 k now

but where do i get these pickups in india dimazrio is not available online. i need a strat sized high gain humbucker.

I am not aware of strat humbuckers ,but if your guitar has space for a single coil(x3) how would you install hum?
Other option is to sell 012 and buy a 112. it has H-S-S ,or buy similar priced ones like esp m10 ,j dinky etc
