To people lurking this thread, this is an extremely good laptop, the power which even newer generation laptops don't have.

If I weren't looking for a graphic card, I just might as well buy this.

Would've gone for it but it lacks warranty.

No warranty for this old a device. But its in perfect condition. Never dropped. Never bumped. I treat it like a child, so, given it that amount of care and affection.

Other than that, got a new fan put in, and its running cooler than stock (it used to run 50+ idle. Now it runs Lowe 40s idle, and stays around 85 at full load). And new battery promised at no additional cost.

Anyone wondering about temps, here is a quick "bench" for temp / heat dissipation

Temps after about 2 hours of low stress computing. Browsing, youtube, system updates, etc.
