Both the HP models have the same graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M)
whereas Inspiron 15R has ATI Radeon HD 7730M and Inspiron 14R has NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M.
both Hp and dell are nearly priced the same. I was more inclined towards the Hp models because of the fingerprint reader and I already own a Hp dv4 lap, but after I came across the specs of the new inspiron 15r/14r I'm in a dilemma
as to what to get.

Dell inspiron special edition are the best options right now.
Or if you can wait then it would be better for you, as soon other brands will come up with IVB processor based laptops, hopefully in few weeks(max 1 month) so you will get a lot of other good options too.
