how to save embedded online videos?

is there any software that can save online embedded videos from site like youtube.com or video.google.com, these videos are actually in shockwave flash format, pls can any1 help??

ok I got this from techtalkz.com once...and i saved this tutorial...even someone have posted the samething in this forum...
Well i searched boht the places but wasnt able to find..
finally i decided to post what i copied...and it even worked...
So pls everyone this is not my work...and dont tell me that i have copied it ..coz i know i have!

and either use VLC Player to play
or convert it to .mpeg

Check out this site. It is the best in terms of such stuff:
Videodownloader.

All you have to do is to copy and paste the URL of the site in the box and you get the link to the embedded file,simple, isnt it?. It also allows to download other embedded files such as .swf,.mp3, etc. If you have FireFox, try their FireFox extension too.
