if u could tell me how to do this, it'll really be gr8.
i have a compaq presario 2100 notebook which has gone defunct (long story). it has a wi-fi card, which is at the bottom of the notebook. it can easily be taken out, as there is a slot which it fits into. (it kinda looks like a miniature pci card). now i want to attach this to my other lappy, which is also a compaq presario, model m2202tu. can it be done?? :?: :?:
my laptop also comes with a wi-fi model, so i have my guess that it can be done. so pls lemme kno...thanks....

we cant just tell ya like that without lookin at it dude
chances are since the models are so close the wireless system maybe same
if u have the same slot in the new one MAYBE u can attatch the old one
ull have to download the drivers from compaq site
however afaik it wont work ...

well afaik the 2000series presarios come wid the same specs mini-pci slots. so i guess you can. but in any case call up the customer care to kno about the compatibility. the line voltages maybe different. you can never say anything about these totally customised computers!
