Can any one tell me how can I increase my systems shared memory.
My pc's configuration is
P4 2.66 Ghz
VIA P4M800-M7 motherboard
768MB Ram (64MB Shared),etc..
I want ti increase it to atleast 128MB since I dont have ONBOARD GRAPHICS.
At present I dont want to invest in a graphics card.

When booting the pc press del key to go in the bios. Then under integrated peripherals look for onboard graphics & under it increase the graphics memory(shared memory).

Its the onboard graphics u r using if u dun have a card yet.
As ur mobo is a via chipset family ur onboard graphics chip would most probably be via one.ie s3 pro or savage. Most of them can only have a max of 64MB shared memory nd even if it could have 128 then its of no use. Its not DX9 compliant nd doesn't even have H/W Transform nd Lighting (T&L) support which can be seen even on geforce 2 class cards.

So u have to get at least a 6200 AGP which is up for 2.5k, which could give u a huge perfomance boost in graphics compared to via onboard.
