How to increase shared mem

    I have 256 mb of ram. 8 mb is shared for video memory. I can't increase it from bios. i.e. bios doesn't support more than 8 mb for video (I guess). Is there any other way to increase shared memory.

    tht is limited by the BIOS itself
    if u want more memory for the GFX then goin for the GFX card is an option

    i dont think even BIOS upgrades will help

    The rest of the memory,it borrows from the system as and when required.
