how to open gmail messages in tabs???

thats not working.option doesn't come .i m using firefox1.5
cant use it like i use to open yahoo messages in new tabs.

You can't do that. Only separate pages or frames can be opened in new tabs. The whole GMail package is one integrated environment. It's not different webpages in frames.

copy the address of the page nd open new tab nd paste it nd hit go. Thats the only way i think.

In the bottom of the screen you can find the basic HTML view option. Click on it, and the display will be changed to HTML without java scripts. Here you can open any messages in multiple tabs.

Eureka!! Found it. This is cool!

Set keyboard shortcuts to on in settings. Then press <shift>+o to open in new windows. Firefox's popup blocker blocked it by the way, and I had set mail.google.com to allow.

Login to Gmail.

Open *mail.google.com/mail/h/ to switch to gmail HTML.

Then u can open messages in new tabs.
