how to enable the sound of the modem through speakers.

hi friends.

well i am in a dial up now.you see i was having the dialling sound of the modem comming out through my speakers.not through the modems speakers.

there was a problem with the modem settings recently and i did something to change the modem settings(even i dont know accurately what i did. )

but now i dont get any dialling sound through my speakers.not even through the modem speakers.

please help.

in order for people to help..people need to know the make of the component that is you are seeking help for..without telling the name of the places you wanted to go, how can one guide you there?

most probably there is a reset button somewhere...look for a small hole and use a compass or needle to reset
