Hello,
My computer is also used by my little sister and i want to know the sites visited by her.
How could i disable the Clear History Button so that she is unable to clear her history.
I googled and found this solution
1. Open REGEDIT.
2. Navigate to section: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Policies\ Microsoft\ Internet Explorer\ Control Panel.
3. Create a new DWORD value.
4. Name it "History". Give it a value of "1".
5. Close REGEDIT.
But i dont find that registry entry in Regedit. In my regedit it shows the following link:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Policies\ Microsoft\SystemCertificates\
I use Win XP SP2 with IE 6.0.2900.2180
I found the solution from other forum site:
type gpedit.msc. Navigate to Computer Configuration\Administrative
Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Internet Control Panel. Right click "Disable the
General page" then click Properties, and set the policy to Enabled
