How to delete everything

Hi Guys,

I am going to sell my Computer. Though I deleted all datas on my system, I am to delete everything completely from my Harddisk,I mean all datas again.But I have not got CD or DVD or Flappy drives on this system. So, I do not know how to delete everything completely. You advice?

it is better u format. and than install only operating system ..

first format & break the partitions
2nd recreate the partition
& than install O.S.

If you have a boot-up win XP cd, boot from it and delete all the partitions using the delete partition option. Guess that would erase everything.

^^^ Nope. Formatting doesn't erase the data completely. You need a special software for secure data erasing.

I completely agree with Kiran_tech_mania. You need erasing softwares to shred every bit of your data. There are data recovery softwares available that recover data even from formatted or crashed hard disks.
