hi guys ,i want to connect my laptop and comp through lan.how do i do this.both run on win xp and both have an ethernet card.
plz help

why through LAN?

Why on earth would you want to connect your laptop by a LAN. Better use a USB connector to connect them as win XP recognises it easily. using a USB connector would be cost effective solution.
