-----------------------------------------------------
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Games like crysis 3, gta 5, mp3, dota2 , cs:go ,BF4 , COD:Ghosts , fc3 , WATCH DOGS <3 , Batman Arkham origins Programming ,coding ,basic photoshop ,basic sony vegas pro..

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 65k can be extended to 70k MAX including monitor

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: NO, not at all.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: I already have windows 7 [from my old pc] + linux [free]

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1tb is needed.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:YES! I want a 1080p monitor, maybe the dell s2240L [Already have 900p so will be setting up dual monitor]

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Mouse/Keyboard/UPS [Power only goes once a month so not a big deal]

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Within 5days

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No this is my first build, i'll probably do it on my own [i am really intersted in computers ]

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

Sorry bro, but i have listed flipkart as the source so i would really buy to buy from there only. My dad doesnt have time to come to lamington with me and also he cant give me 70k cash to go alone and buy. [We live very farm from lamington] Also i had gone to lamington 2days ago with a friend, they are charging more than what u have quoted. Porbably prices will increase coz of navratari , even flipkart might update?

Also i really like the 30day replacement policy of flipkart, which is not given by people @ lamington.
Can you make a build from flipkart please?

i5 4430 -13.3k
Asus B85M-G -6.5k or gigabyte ga b85m d3h - 6.4k
GSkill ripjawsX 1600 MHz 4 GB -3k
WD Blue 1 TB - 4.4k
amd ati 7970 - 27k(buy locally. FK too much overpriced.)
Seasonic S12II 620 W -5.2k
NZXT Gamma -2.3k(buy locally atleast)
Dell S2240L -9.2k
LiteOn IHAS122-06 WU DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive - 1k

FK is overpriced for all components. First try to search for maximum local hops near to your area. Smc,itdepot ,primeabgb .mdcomputers are also very reliable.

Had gone to around 8-9 shops @ lamington, here is my comparison from the quotes i got there:
The mobos, psu, monitor, optical drive costed the same.
The ram was 100rs cheaper there [dont you think i will need 8gb ram?]
Hardisk was 300rs cheaper there
Didnt check with 7970, but Asus 760 was 22.5k
I dont want the Gamma case, my friend has it and i dont like it.. Also its very tough to fit long cards there..
So i think HAF912 [5.5k @Fk] is a good option

The i5-4570 was 800rs cheaper @ lamington

So if i buy from flipkart here's the loss i do: 2*100 + 300 + 3200 + 800 = 4500rs
I dont mind loosing 4500 RS [I save 300rs everytime i visit there , so if i go to lamington atleast twice to buy the stuff and once after getting all the stuff , i loose 900rs + i will waste my time energy studies and college [i need to bunk coz college is usually till 5pm and sunday lamingotn is closed], so it's kinda not worth it]
Flipkart gives 30day replacement policy which is not given by anyother online or offline stores , which is a huge plus point.

How about i buy everything except the graphic card now, i'll be able to play dota/cs on the intel hd4600 [inbuilt in haswell] for a few months and then buy the next gen amd gfx card by janurary [also i have exams from last week of novemebr till 25th december, so i wont be gaming that whole month]

How is the idea?

TBH i dont like the looks of antec, but CM HAF 912 is so sexxxxyyyyyy :p [To envy all my noob friends hehehehehhe :p]

hd4600 can survive on acceptable frame rates. then skip gpu now as next gen amd is already on the corner.

also hdd from fk has seen many DOA cases. better buy it locally.

Okay thanks for the information. Here's my revised build and i had some doubts:
I chose to go with Intel because of less hassles with 1.Overclocking of AMD-FX , 2. Extra Heat caused by AMD-FX , 3.More power consumption of AMD

CPU ------------------- Intel i5 - 4570
Motherboard--------- Confused between Gigabyte B85-D3h AND Asus b85m-G [Both are same price]
RAM ------------------ G.Skill 2*4gb
HDD - WD BLUE 1TB
CASE----------------- HAF 912 with window
PSU ------------------ Seasonic S12ii 620W
MONITOR------------1080p + 900p [Dual monitor setup- i already have an old 900p]
Total from flipkart = 52,500/- RS

I will be using the Intel HD 4600 until the New AMD Volcanic islands will be released..

1.So how is my first rig?
2.Which motherboard is good?
3.Are all the parts compatible?
4.Will the b85 motherboards support the newer gpu?
5. B85 mobo support windows 8 64bit?
6.What's the difference between H87 and B85 motherboards? [I wont be using SSD Caching ever, so if that is the only difference i dont think it's worth the upgrade]

Also because the mobo is a bit low in price, it wouldn't fail if i use it for 18-20hrs a day for the next 4years?

[I use my pc a lot, that's why wanted to go for Intel to save electricity build and thus overclocking is not an option for me ]

don't man don't do this u might end up like me...............if u wana buy buy all components at once only.....

What do you mean Bro?

Also harshil why are u suggesting h87 over the b85??

B85 boards are generally of lower quality as they are the base line boards. With an i5 and such powerful graphic card, an H87 board will better suite because of better build quality and use of higher quality components. Also, with an H87 board, you can perform partial overclocking of i5 by tweaking the turbo boost settings.
