oh... yh got it.......... but why does this stupid CPUZ show 200 mhz for my ram... thats my concern...

but tell me one thing SLUGGER........ if i overclock my Celeron 2.26 ghz running at an FSB of 133*4=533 mHz to 166*4=664, my ram wont give up isnt it?.......... cuz it wont feel the load until anything more than 200*4=800 is achieved..... isnt it?

and BTW good joke
" well DDR RAM does d same thing that RDRAM, SDRAM and EDO RAM do "

ur memory specs

Single-channel DDR memory architecture

2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM socket support up to 2 GB
Support DDR400/333 2.5V DDR SDRAM

i am not so sure of it myself cause me RAM operates @ 266MHz but it shows 133MHz ind HW id sw

and my mobo also supports 266

so i geuss there is nothing wrong with d sys if all our clockspeeds r being shown as half of wat it actually is :D

probably operating @400 and 266 resp

hey please tell me about duplicate threads ? why you create it.. ?

try to be patient when you ask something.. rather than creating more threads !

RAM freq. is 200MHz for one channel and it will run at 400MHz when dual channel is enabled.

GUNNING DOWN TEAMS
DDR SDRAM is a class of memory integrated circuit used in computers. It achieves greater bandwidth than the preceding single-data-rate SDRAM by transferring data on the rising and falling edges of the clock signal (double pumped). Effectively, it nearly doubles the transfer rate without increasing the frequency of the front side bus.

Thus a DDR-400 will show mem clock speed of 200Mhz.
