Hep choosing monitor

I am looking for a monitor as a second display for my laptop. I have narrowed down to three -


1. LG 23EA53V
2. HP 23FI
3. AOC I2367FH


my budget is 10000-12000

I'll be using it for - programming, office work, and some gaming.
Can you guys please suggest which one should I go for?

Thanks. I was considering that as well earlier. But later dropped it from my list, as I decided that I would rather go for an IPS display (with matte finish to the screen).

From what I have gathered -

1. All three are IPS displays with matte finish to the screen.
2. 23EA53V's overall display quality is slightly better. But its stand is very wobbly.
3. HP 23FI doesn't have sound.
4. AOC doesn't have DVI. The other two support HDMI & DVI. AOC is also about 800-1000 Rs. more expensive.

Any owners here? Can you please provide your opinion?

I ordered LG 23EA53V from infibeam.com. It cost me Rs. 10,645 with shipping. Will add some pictures when it arrives.

Received the monitor this week. Quite well packed. But shockingly Infibeam shipped 23EA53 and not 23EA53V. Anyway I have decided to keep it. I think for the price point its a good monitor.

The matte finish doesn't allow the colors to pop out as a glossy screen would have.

I would have to calibrate it as OOB settings are either too cool or too warm.

Monitor is very wobbly. It wobbles when I type. But I knew that.

I'm now in same situation as you were to decide a good AH-IPS 22"-23" MATTE FINISH ONLY LED monitor.
I'm considering below monitors but few are not available in India yet.

1. Asus MX239H (not available in India yet)
2. AOC i2367fh (available)
3. AOC d2367ph (available)
4. Dell 2240L (available, but it has glossy screen - ruled out)

Please suggest me, if you know any other AH-IPS 22"-23" matte finish LED monitor.

LG E2242C. I'm using it and I'm satisfied. Cont really comment on color and contrast as I keep them really low due to :tired:

You have all 3 options that I had. You can also look at U2412M from Dell. As I said, 23EA53 is bang for buck. The only thing trouble some about it is its wobbliness (it wobbles even when I run my ceiling fan on full speed :)
