help!!!! windows live messenger problem

hey ppl...i need help...i use windows live messenger...1 of my files... "MSVCR80.dll" is corrupt...its located in C:\progrm files\msn messenger.....iv tried replacin dis wid 1 msvcr80.dll i dwnloded frm dll-files.com...bt it shows dt d library file is incomplete.....can som1 plz mail me d windows live version of dis file??? or duz ne1 how 2 solve dis frustratin problem????

reinstalled d messenger.....bt dis file is not contained in d install package....sumthn 2 do wid visual studio library....i dun hv dt....i will dwnlod .net framework ver 3

I heard this problem from many people after installing .NET Framework 2.0.
Download MSVCR80.dll

It will be zipped file. Extract the dll file and copy it into the directory C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

Restart computer.

i hv .net framework ver 3 installed....dis problem came before installin .net ver3.... den i had .net ver 1.1 installed.......iv uninstalled live mssngr, installed msn messenger 7.5 n den again upgraded it 2 live mssenger bt still it wont work....thnx kiran bt iv olredy tried dis file frm dll-files.com... even tried replacin dt file wid 1 of d copy i found sumwhr in the windows folder....if ur using live mssngr den mail 2 me plz

Plz do what I said. Put that extrated file into the folder I specified. The problem may get solved.
