These r few old sites which i found for installing OS thru floppy, i tried but didnt succeed, may b i did something wrong during the process.

One of the oldest site i found on net, the way they use to install Linux in d year 1997 Floppyless installation.

No use. There are 100's of such sites listed in various threads in this section. All of them have been either put up as stickies or linked from a sticky but who cares to read all that.

yes dude very true. ppl hardly read stuffs on net. :)

actually people are seeing these sites but again they are confused,because what they believe is Alternate OS are supposedly looks n feel like Window$!
reg Gnome and Kde Psychocats site is not so reliable ;) it is biased and a troll(kde fanboy teh author is)
I am yet to find an unbiased review of both DE>in a nutshell Gnome is for simplicity(though customizable) and Kde is for control freaks.
edit:found one research paper ;) for Gnome vs Kde for n00b's.

yeah google is the solution....though a proper and enriching guide of 'etch' installation and features that is not easily thrown up in google will be good.....
