Help Thin Client

Anyone bought thin client that is "p1 at p4 speed"

Is that good to use or not.

What is a Thin Client ?
* A server based computing solution
* Does not "run" applications locally - All applications are installed centrally only once at the server
* No hard disk required on each node
* Run latest software with blazing speed of Pentium-4 even on Pentium-1

The Thin Clients available in India are from Enjay, and their solution are ::

1) Enjay ThinClient Version 1.0
This is entry level product, from Enjay Network Solutions. It is suitable for the most of applications, works with windows NT (TSE 4.0), or Windows 2000 or windows 2003 Server.
This product requires P-1 / 32 MB ram on the node. (client)

2) Enjay Ultra ThinClient
This is suitable for users who have applications, which require 16 bit colours, works with windows NT (TSE 4.0), or Windows 2000 or windows 2003 Server.
This product requires P-1 / 16 MB ram on the node. (client)

well i guess termenal server can do the trick also... i have tried that with Server 2003 enverment... just turning on the TS and the loging into it from any system over lan...

ThinClient can not be used @ home,

This is not a solution for single pc, it is a network solution.

yes thin client is good, and it really works, i have seen it in iiht, and you only need a single os, for your whole network as there is only one harddisk required,

If I have two computers. Then the computer having the harddisk will make it slow if the other computer which has that ThinClient which uses this computers harddisk.

hello buddy i have my internet cafe and i want to use enjay thin clinent system. But i want to know how to configure and share client wtih server i want to use windows XP Prof / Windwos 2003 server. If anyone having documentation please provide the link to me so i can download it.

i have p4 machine 1.7 mhz. and 128 ram.
