---> I have 2 desktop pcs. I want to share broadband connection
between these 2 (Using 750 unlimited plan)

---> I am using Beetel 220bx Adsl Modem (1 USB + 1 Ethernet port)
When I tried to connect 1 pc through USB & other through
Ethernet, then problem is ONLY 1 pc is getting net i.e net is working
only on 1 pc.

]How can I use internet on 2 pcs simultaneously. 1st through USB &
2nd through Ethernet ?

Is changing mode to pppoe can help solving this problem ?

Extra : I have 2 LAN cards
On 1st pc : Windows Vista Ultimate Sp1
On 2nd pc : Windows XP Professional

Have you tried assigning different IP addresses to the two computers?

You could also connect the modem to only one computer via USB and share the internet connection to the second computer with a network cable. But then the first computer will always have to be on when you want to access the internet with the second computer.

Yet another possibility is to buy a 4-port hub or a switch (they're quite cheap these days). Link the modem and the two computers together by connecting them all to the hub/switch. You will still have to assign different IP addresses to the two computers.

With either method, you can also share files between the two computers. I use the second approach at home. I use an 8-port switch to link 4 computers plus the modem.

Which mode is more stable : bridge or pppoe ?

As I am facing disconnection prob after 30-25 min in pppoe mode..
but I am connected through USB..

So, USB or LAN : which one is more stable ?

^Agreed. That's why I use it myself to network my home computers. As I said before, the modem connects to the rest of the network through a switch.

I'm using the same type of connection so i opted for Wi-Fi modem from airtel they charged me around 1000/- extra and now i'm having no problems plus a wi-fi zone in my home.
