Help Re:Backing up Data!

I backed up my contacts from my phone (Nokia 7610) to my PC through PC Suite. They were stored as a '.nfb' file. Now when i try to send that data back to the phone, through PC suite, it says 'data sent successfully' and fone was restarted. But when i saw in the phone, there weren't any contacts!!!
Please anyone help... Where did the contacts gone?? (

hm...........

did u take a complete phone back up ; if u did the try restoring completely that might help

or try the synchronise option in the p.c suite

what i do is
open the nokia browser
go to contacts and copy paste all the contacts to a folder in my system
the whenever i want to copy it back i just synchronize the contacts
no head aches
