I am not able to access a few sites for the last few weeks. Sites are hotmail.com, heavengames.com, download.com, msn.com, microsoft.com, techrepublic.com and a few more. I spoke to the customer care but it ok at there end. I have formatted my system twice, removed the firewall and reinstalled it but no use. However i am able to access all thease sites via a proxy server. i am facing this problem for that 3 weeks now.I tried all browsers. I can however open almost all sites except for those and a few more.

processor:- 2.4 ghz pentium4
os- windows xp sp2 (windows firewall disabled)
firewall- zonealarm
antivirus- kaspersky

your isp is blocking the sites, since you are able to access them through a proxy server.
