I went to a shop yesterday. The salesman showed me 4 models.
Sony KLV26CX320 - 23.9k
Sony KLV26BX320 - 24.9k
LG 26LU11 - 21k
Samsung 26D450 - 22k
What is difference between the CX and BX series from Sony. They look exactly the same and the display quality is almost same too.
The salesman said that the BX320 has a light sensor and it varies the brightness based on the ambient lighting.
But is it the only difference?
The LG TV had a lot more features like pen drive support(played two test videos from their collection. Support it good it seems), IPS panel, 300W speakers(Speakers were really good). But it seemed to have a much larger resolution than the Sony TV's and since the demo was being given by using Cable connection(without a set top box), the picture was grainy.
On using the same connection, the display looked crisper on the Sony TV's.
But am not sure if the cable connection is the only thing to blame for the graininess. Is the noise reduction capability of the Sony TV's better?
My father liked the picture quality of the Sony and since this is going to be used with a cable connection only(without a set top box), should we take the Sony instead of LG?
