It is Sony Vaio,not Waio.
Why hate something without actually using it?

Your requirement is absolutely basic and you do not need i5,i7.
Even a c2d laptop can do everything you mentioned without breaking a sweat.

1GB card does not mean anything.

From when do Dell and hp have started making stylish laptops?(Did you mean those designs on inspirons and dv6?Sorry,but they look very cheap and tacky.)

Totally agree with you bro

Vaio laptops are very good, I feel that they are one of the best.
Asus is an upcoming brand in laptops as we all know that they manufactured motherboards only,Asus is giving very good config at an affordable price with very good build quality.
Dell laptops are just ok but know a days they are charging a lot and not providing good specs when compared to other brands

Thanx for your replies guys,i looked at a laptops and i finally bought HP Pavilion DV6 6154TX.The laptop is really awesome,it looks great it has a bronze metallic finish, looks really classy and it comes with beats audio, has an excellent webcam and dual microphone and it comes with ati radeon 1gb graphics card and 750 gb hard disk. Also it has a fingerprint scanner that i find really useful.

I looked at all models of vaio and dell, but hp is undoubtedly the leader.sony vaio laptops gave me hard disk of 500 gb only for 53,000 rs.! but i get 750gb of hard disk with this hp model for 49,500.750 gb is really hard to find in any laptop under 50k.lookwise also hp is the leader, dell laptops looked really tacky with the back cover and sony vaio also looks little tacky with the pattern on it's back while hp on the other hand has really simple yet stylish look that's really classy. Also the screen in my laptop is bigger than that of dell or sony vaio.sony vaio gave 15.4 inches while HP gives 15.6 inches. And the most awesome thing about the laptop is beats audio.Dell laptops are really ordinary plus you have to wait for 15 days for the shipping. So i'm really happy with my laptop and thank you once again for your replies .

Thank you so much for your replies guys.I took your advice into consideration and i checked out Sony Vaio and Asus, but after many days of browsing through a lot of laptops i went with my first love HP.I have purchased HP Pavillion DV6 6154TX for a price of Rs. 49,500 which is a little over my budget but this laptop truly kicks ass.It has Windows 7 Home Premium,Intel Core i5 processor,4 GB ram,750 GB of hard disk,AMD Radeon 1 GB graphics card.

At first i was thinking of buying a dell laptop, but there was nothing exciting about them, they were too ordinary look-wise and feature-wise.Then i moved on to Sony Vaio and i quite liked the laptops,i had my mind set on Sony Vaio C Series VPCCA35FN which costs around 53,000 Rs. but i found that that the HP model i bought is much better than the Sony Vaio model i liked.First of all the HP model is cheaper at only 49,500 and some specs are better than that of Sony Vaio for example the hard disk in the Sony Vaio laptop is 500 GB but HP gives 750 GB of hard disk.It is almost impossiblr to get 750 GB of hard disk under 50,000.Also the screen is bigger than any Sony Vaio laptop at 15.6 inches.Lookwise HP is better than Sony Vaio. The Sony Vaio laptop was available in 3 colors - black, white and red and only looked decent while white looked too girly and red was just tacky but HP has a bronze metallic color which is really different and it looks really classy. One of the best features of HP is Beats Audio. No other company in the market gives you Beats Audio that too under 50K.It also has a fingerprint scanner which can be used to lock your laptop and even to login to websites. Also the Webcam is better and it has dual microphones for clearer sounds. So i bought a great laptop and i'm really happy

Thank you for your comments once again.

Do you even know what does the word tacky means?

You found Dell to be tacky and simple ordinary at the same time!!

You are probably one of those rare genious whose prime criteria to choose a laptop revoves around hdd capacity.
Sure hdd price has skyrocketed and you seem to be extremely concerned.

Anyways congrats!Enjoy your new laptop and try to learn the very basics of computer before your next purchase.

I know more about technology and computers than you ever will red dragon. And i think you are one of those people who only look at the price tag in a laptop, nothing else.I always had an open mind towards every company and after carefully reviewing after months i found that hp is much much better than any available laptop under 50K.Which other laptop gives you 750 gb ,beats audio and a fingerprint reader?
