hardware querry : which ram ?

currently i have one 128 mb ddr ram ... im planning to buy another stick , so will it affect the performance if the other stick is 256 mb ??

the size doesnt matter. the only thing that matters is if they are of the same type (DDR or DDR2 or SD or RD)

if they are at 2 different frequecies, they will run at the lower frequency.

You may have problem sometime time using Adobe Photoshop or Using In Server MotherBoard. I faced that problem in Server Board and In my friend place using Phtoshop

vysakh is right.. better get the ram of the same speed if not the same brand.. also i think its better to go in for the existing type of ram module u have..
