Hardware Problem- Screen flickers & Some time Black out

Hi Friends

I require ur help in finding solution to my problem

Actually i m not sure whether these r two different problems or interrelated

1)What happens that some times my screen flickers u can only notice when u look carefully
2)Some times while i m working screen goes black while CPU is still running

Below is the configuration:

1. Motherboard: MSI 880GM-E41

2. Processor: Phenom II X2 555 B.E.

3. RAM: Corsair 2x 2 GB Value Select 1333 MHz

4. Hard disk: Western Digital Caviar Black 750GB WD7502AAEX

5. Power Supply: Zeblin ZL 450W-P4

When the screen gets turned off, does the power indicator still stays on?

Go to control panel > power options > settings and change "automatically turn monitor off after" to 0 minutes.
