Graphics Card Recommendation

Will Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT runs in Mercury 845GVM-AGP(FSB-533/400 MHz) mobo.. If not recommend me some other Graphics card...

6600GT is an AGP card if your MB has an AGP Slot it should run. But in todays date an AGP card like 6600GT is meaningless, even an AMD 780G motherboard onboard will give better graphics performance.

Time to move on.. can't upgrade old parts.. save this mmachine for downloading / movies /music only and get a new one for Gaming.. ex:

AMD 64 X2 7750: 3.5k
Gigabyte 780G based board: 4.5k
Transcend 2x2GB DDR2 800MHz: 2.5k or G-Skill for 3.5k

Palit 9600GT: 5.5k or HD4670 for 5k
Western Digital 500GB sata2 HDD: 2.8k


Cooler master Elite 330 : 2k
Corsair VX450: 3.7k-4k

On Intel's side:

Core 2 duo E7400 2.8Ghz 5.8k
Gigabyte g31-s2h 2.5k

Transcend 2x2GB DDR2 800MHz: 2.5k

Palit HD4830 for 7.3k [Best Gaming]
Western Digital 500GB sata2 HDD: 2.8k


Cooler master Elite 330 : 2k
Corsair cx400: 3.2k
