I also want to know , I have a Asus Motherboard P5PE-VW with 1 AGP 8x slot and 3 PCI. I don't know about the new graphic card which was support on my motherboard.

What is the difference between AGP and PCI-E or PCI (It is same or different)

Also should i built a graphic card 8600GT on my asus motherboard. Please advice.

If no, which graphic card will help.

1. PCI-E is more than 10x faster than AGP
2. AGP
3. PCI is more than 10x slower than AGP.

There is even a PCI-E 2.0 now..

(The Numbers are only meant for explanation purposes, AFAIK, PCI-E is even more faster than 10 times!)
