graphic card query

I have a Mercury 845e motherboard with Intel P4 chipset
I juz need to know which graphic card supports my motherboard
I had a GeForce 2 400MX 64bit card earlier but now I need to upgrade
I tried to install GeForce FX5200 128 but it didnt work dunno wats the problem
any ideas??

Specify your system config and mention graphics card detail with OS and power supply.

ur geforce 2 was AGP or PCI ?

Firstly you should know that your motherboard is discontinued by all board manufacturers.
Your board had 1 4X AGP slot, 6PCI slots and 1 CNR slot. The Gforce Fx-5200 card is a 8X AGP card and it doesnot support the 4X slot on your mobo. Hence it is not working. You have to find a decent 4X video card or change ur mobo.

That's right you have to upgrade to a new mobo, since your motherboard is
outdated!!
