i have following specs:-
Mainboard : Gigabyte 945GCM-S2L
Processor : Intel Pentium E2160 @ 1800 MHz
Physical Memory : 1024 MB (1 x 1024 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
Hard Disk : Hitachi (160 GB)
Monitor Type : HCM7LWAT21 - 17 inches
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional 6.01.7600
The problem is i bought Zotac NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 eco edition which is downclocked a little at 675mhz core clock and 1000mhz memory clock. But in Crysis warhead dx 10 i get 23fps in 1024*768 resolution, gamer mode no anti aliasing. In resident evil 5 all high and AA 8* 1440*900 resolution i get only 33fps.And in 3d mark vantage i got 5100 points only!!!.Whereas on reviews sites i saw that the fps were much much more and the score in 3d mark vantage was 6500 gpu score. What is the problem i don't know plss help.
I have a psu cooler master extreme 460w.i.

^^ change both your procy & PSU. change the proccy at least to a 2.5-2.8Ghz one. dual core, keeping mobo same. & PSU to a Corsair CX400W/FSP Saga II 500W or if possible to a Corsair VX450W.

yup, the gaming performance also depends on the processor...get C2D e7500 @ 5k for good performance..
moreover your psu needs to be changed as sam mentioned..

YUPPP..change your Processor to E8400 0r higher...and RAM to 4 GB DDR2 667..becoz these boards dont support 800 mhz rAM.TRY ATLEAST getting E7500...if you r low in budget

at 5k, a 7500 is way too costly. a DualCore from 6*** series will work fine at 3.*k range.

E8400 will be more than enough. also he can put in 800Mhz ram. will downclock automatically to reqd speed.

its doesn't matter. even if its eco edition, Extreme Power can't take such heavy load. when he change proccy (& end up with more power requirement) the PSU will tax the card.
