Graphic card for old motherboard

hi friends.....my friend want to add a graphic card for his old PC
following is the config of his system
Intel Pentium HT 3.8GHz
Motherboard ECS 865G-M8 V-1.0g
2 GB RAM DDR 400
please suggest a GPU for very Cheap as much as possible so plaese suggest one so he can game some with hardware acceleration and watch some nice movies because it eems he is having a HD Monitor

the mobo has a AGP 8X slot and agp gfx cards are very hard to find
tell your friend to get a new rig

Even if he gets a graphic card that is for AGP slot, I donot think he will get HDMI support from it. Ask him to upgrade.

I would recommend him to get a AMD processor and a motherboard that would support that monitor.

Processor: AMD Athlon II x2 250 @Rs.2700
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA78LMT-S2 @Rs.2500
and 2 Gb Ddr 3 ram @rs.700

though the mobo with it's 760G chipset supports HD is not enough for more advanced visual effects offered by HD - so it's better to get a gfx card like GT520 or HD6450 @ ~2.8k
