Got myself a new ipod touch 16gb , advice needed .

Ok , just got this beauty for 9k!!! , ya you read it right 9k!! , just dont ask me how .
The looks are really killing , but apple sucks . They didnt even provide itunes cd with it , so that i had to first download the 65mb setup file from their site . Without itunes the touch dosent even start the first time . The syncing process is troublesome .
I just want to know that are their any shops or service center available in mumbai which can mod (jailbreak) the default firmware of the touch so that i can use this beauty with its full potential , if anyone in this forum has a modded touch can guide me on this .
I will write a short review with pictures and a video soon .

Okay. I take it you are still on software 1.1.4. You need to get up to 2.1. Wtb the App Store, you don't need to jailbreak. All apps are available at the tap of a finger (an maybe the flick of a credit card). There's loads of free apps and the paid mrs don't cost much anyway.

Just to clear it. You can restore an iPhone/iPod touch to its factory state. Thus, jailbreaking/unlocking does not necessarily void your warranty

Of corz you own the device and are free to do "whatever" you want with the hardware but you don't "own" the software. Its licensed. Jailbreaking is associated with software.. not hardware..
