how to get google.com

whenever i type google.com to address bar, i always redirected to google.co.in
same with yahoo.com,always goes to in.yahoo.com

is there any way to access .com not .co.in ?

HI,
When google.co.in page opens,
look below, theresa option of "go to google.com"...........just click on that........

Type www.google.com/ncr and then you will never again be redirected to google.co.in

And once you open google/yahoo with the correct locale, just bookmark the page. That's what I've been using for years. For yahoo mail, I bookmark the login page instead of the hme page. That saves one mouse click and the time it takes to load the home page. Same with most other webmail services.

use keywords in firefox

eg if u type "g" in address bar it opens google.com .

It happens because they have setup their server right here in India for faster and error free usage of their sites.

Otherwise, the loading time will be a bit more when the servers are there at the united states of america
