regardin cabinet...yes u can use server chasis.......server chasis means..it will b a big box...with lot of space..........only thing make sure u have a a place ard to keep the cabinet....well in zebronics.......ppl mostly prefer jamaica as far as my knoledg goes.......but i ll advice better decide seeing 2-3 cabinets.......and yup they cost ard 3-4k without psu...........
also giv due weightage to chieftec...after all its 2nd best cases after antec.....the number 1 here

btw also c2d is down becoz of not proper mobo...and one which rules...is abt 17k cost........whichever u get get the latest bios updated.....

also i dont think if u have onboard video..it makes difference in oc...if u use gfx card instead of onboard stuff....

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3.
Why is it better than Intel® Desktop Board DG965RY? Is that the overclocking capability? It doesn't have onboard graphics.
But Gigabyte GA-965G-DS3 has on board graphics. The only difference between these two seems to be just about the graphics (and RAID). Is there any way I could know the prices of these cards"

i have my own doubts on this too... apart from onboard graphics ... i dont see any difference in performance.... cost diffrence between the two is not much also..
GA-965P-DS3 is selling like hot cakes right now

cos they are damn good overclockers .. along with asus P5B DELUXE ..

i will opt for asus P5B DELUXE though.. if to decide between these two ..

As I am not a gamer, I don't need oveclocking.

If I choose the Asus P5B instead of the Intel board, I need a graphics card atonce as this one doesn't have on board graphics. So it will be around 18k for mobo and gpu. From 7.2k to 18k.

Just see where I have started and where I am going to end now.

17" LCD for 9.3k!!!

vinyas might be mentioning 15' LCD.......... a minor typo ;)

But Acer 17' LCD is available for 9.7k.........( source COMPUTER WAREHOUSE ) and Viewsonic 17' for 9.9k, LG for 10k and Samsung for 10.15k.

I am thinking about Samsung 940BW, 19' Wide............ after 'drvarunmehta' advice. (only after his words I started thinking about LCD monitor.)

Get the Samsung 940BW or a Viewsonic VA1912WB. Both excellent monitors.
Once you use an LCD there's no going back to a CRT. If you like watching movies, there's nothing like a widescreen LCD.
