Its development release and it won't be in the repos. I mean 2.5.x // You have to compile it

The only thing I missed in GIMP was Polygon Selection and Magnetic Lasso.. Hats off to GIMP developers for adding Polygon Selection.. Thanks Dark Star for the info

Yes you can install Gimp 2.5.x Unstable but it will be difficult to find distro packages.. You have to install from Source
