I ges some good quality material is also available

No its not about built quality, but on usability
but PS2 Dual Shock Controller is better, there are some adapters available in Market so that u can connect PS2 Dual Shock in XBOX 360
I must say they r better than XBOX Controller

I don't have an XBOX. I was looking for a good game pad for my PC games. Previously I was thinking of getting Logitech logitech rumblepad 2.
However some people suggested me that all the games are not supported by logitech gamepads so XBOX controllers are better option over logitech RunblePad

The controller for pc will be easily available for Rs. 1200 at nehru place. I u struggle a bit then u can also find much better than this. But 1200 is the maximum u can get for.
