Sorry for the dumb question.. Wat abt asus z87 pro??? Instead of asus h87 pro???

it is not a dumb question.
z87 chipset based motherboards is meant for processors with unlocked multiplier(which means the cpu can be overclocked by just changing the multiplier). i5 4570 has a locked multiplier and therefore ,there is no need to have a costly z87 mobo. an h87/b85 chipset based mobo would be enough.

If you have a K attached at the end of your processor model no. only then you should get a Z based motherboard. K + Z = Overclocking. Without either its gonna be fruitless or a waste.

not exactly true. currently only z87 boards supports sli. so those who sish to use multi nvidia gpu,he has no other option than a z87 board.

Thank you everyone, one more doubt i have.... the mother board is intel chipset (Gigabyte B85M-D3H or asus h87 pro) and the processor is intel Core i5 4570 and the Graphics Engine(Sapphire) is AMD/ATI Radeon R9 280X... will this combination have any compatibility or performance issue...

Sorry guys one more thing I missed out, I am planning to buy 5.1 speakers with sound card... please suggest me on this.

Sorry guys one more thing I missed out, I am planning to buy 5.1 speakers with sound card... please suggest me on this.

1) There won't be any compatibility issue between Intel Chipset and AMD GPU.
2) Any 2.1 Speakers is more than enough and there is no need for separate sound card as the onboard sound is very good.I suggest Logitech Z313 2.1 speakers @ 2k.ok.
