1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Latest games BF4, Thief, Titanfall at 1080p max settings as possible, also a little bit of VmWare work.

My suggestion:-
MSI 990FXA-GD65 (990FX chipset based AM3+) @ 9K (MSI MOTHERBOARD 990FXA-GD65)
Kingston HyperX Blue 8GB X 1 1600MHz CL8 Ram @ 5.6K (Kingston HyperX DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM (KHX1600C10D3B1/8G) - Kingston: Flipkart.com)
Antec VP650P 650W PSU @ 4.72K (Antec VP650P 650 Watts PSU - Antec: Flipkart.com)
Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat with Front USB3.0 panel @ 5.25K (CABINET COOLER MASTER HAF 912 COMBAT)
Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X @ 36K

Total: 60K. This configuration will be beast configuration for gaming and 290 will serve you for extra long time at 1080P Gaming. Currently this card is targeted towards 2560X1440 resolution of QHD (Quad HD). So you can expect at 1080P, all the games will run at their highest possible settings without a glitch while upcoming more demanding games will be also playable at 1080P with highest settings. If you want to reduce the price a little then you can also get the Asus Stocck R9 290 which is available around 32.5K.

Good suggestion Cilus,
But what i was thinking was i would first buy good base components i.e. PSU, Motherboard and Cabinet as i would do a crossfire later and a R9 290 would be overkill right now won't it?
And MSI has ended ops in India and my preference is Asus only so won't compromise on that.

And you mentioned Vedant computers, is it a good shop to buy online? Could i trust 'em i mean?

Yes, they are extremely reliable. Our forum member GamerAnand has bought his 1.5 lacs PC from them. Regarding R9 290, I don't think you need to go for Crossfire for a long time.

What i meant was i would get a R9 280X and do a crossfire later rather than get a R9 290.
I want to spend more on the base components for the very same reason.

i remind you the power consumption of crossfired 280x. if you buy a 290, it will hold you for atleast 3 years or even more maxing out all games at 1080p. after 3 years there will be some newer cards with increased performance and lower power consumption at acceptable price. so i advice you to get r9 290 now.

^^ Exactly. For Crossfire of 280X, you need to have a 750W PSU minimum. Another question is when you are planning to get the 2nd 280X? If it is within 3/4 months then okay but if it like after one year like the most people think then it is out of the equation as that time new generation of cheaper cards with better performance will be available. 290X will serve you all kind of gaming at highest possible for long and getting it will be the best solution.
