Very difficult to find good gaming keyboard prices in india...anyway I saw a logitech G1 gaming desktop for 1.5k in bangalore...theres also the G11 which is out of production but u may be able to get it for less than 2.5k..then theres the microsoft reclusa for arround 3.4k...But the absolute best gaming keyboard u can get is the logitech G-15 but it is a hefty 4k and theres also the razer lycosa which is also expensive at 3.5k..

Microsoft reclusa for 3.5k
Razer Lycosa for 4.6K
Razer Tarantula 6K

if you can wait.......
1. Microsoft is going to come up with its own gaming keyboard completely built by themselves.
2. Saitek products are coming slowly in indian markets.... the distributor is Abhinav futuristics (as u know its CEO is the olympic gold medalist). they have got the saitek gamers keyboard and Saitek eclipse keyboard.

Your best bet seems the Logitech G1 right now :|. Extend your budget to 3.5-4k and get the Razer Lycosa which kicks some serious a$$. The ultimate keyboard is the Razer Tarantula which is, well way out of your budget :(.

I dunno if its available in India but the ZBoard Merc2 is also a kool keyboard.

As for the multimedia take look at the Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 :). Its priced around 2k.

My bad, its 2.7k :|. Anyways, go for it blindly. As per the gaming keyboard, the Logitech Gaming G1 seems to be your best bet.

my bad the reclusa is 3.4k not 2.5 edited
and btw the G15 is better than the tarantula and costs lesser...the tarantulas only advantage over G-15 is the built in headphone and mic jack...but the G-15 has that awesome display on the keyboard and has 8 more macro keys than the tarantula and a few extra trinkets like the gaming switch that disables all the windows and shortcut keys when ur playing a game..3 macro profiles to chose from making it a total of 8 macro keys and you can get many gadgets for the inbuilt display like xfire chat support
i use the sir real pluggin which gives the folllowing features

  • Customizable display of weekday, date and time.
  • Shows number of unread mails as icons (max 5) (if your mail client supports it)
  • Displays CPU usage (supports up to four CPU's, both Intel and AMD).
  • Shows the memory load.
  • Shows inbound (top) and outbound (bottom) network traffic volume
  • Shows network inbound/outbound network load over the last ten seconds, and/or total data sent and received.
  • World clock with daylight savings support and user selectable time zones
  • Speaker switcher, switch between speakers and headphones with a click
  • Displays sound volume and speakers muted status
  • Stopwatch with lap time (click to start/lap, long-click to reset/stop)
  • Detects unresponsive programs and allows you to kill them
  • TeamSpeak2 integration: Shows speakers, player count (channel with large font, server with small font), arriving and leaving players, mic mute status, self speaking status, channel changes. Click to mute/unmute mic. Long-click to show who's in the active channel.
  • WinAMP integration: Shows new song name when song changes. Shows remaining play time and average bitrate. Click to re-display current song.
  • Foobar2000: supports the WinAMP spam component.
  • FRAPS integration: Shows the current FPS.
  • SpeedFan integration: Shows user selectable values from SpeedFan (temperatures, fan speeds, voltages).
  • iTunes integration: Shows new song name when song changes. Shows remaining play time and average bitrate. Click to re-display current song.
