Frostpunk - Sweet, Pretty City Survival game

frostpunk: City sim game, but not just about arranging buildings and more about making sure the city survives and has enough resources, hope, less discontent and most importantly doesn't freeze or starve to death.

Pro:
pretty! Especially at night. Snow looks so good. Makes me want to upgrade
Gameplay is great. hard but not impossible. Could be a con for some.
Freshish . Different type of city strategy. no wars.

Con:
Maybe not so optimized for a strategy game. But since its strategy doesn't need to run over 30fps IMHO. Plus my GPU 750 gtx is kind of oldish by todays standard
Time consuming, too many hours spent here. Can also be a pro for some.

This has been on my radar for a while buy never really bought because I usually don't have much time these days. It looks similar to Cities Skylines.

Yes it is kind of like city skylines, but there is a difference: Its goal oriented. City skylines was do as you wish. make a hamlet or a large city. frostpunk has more strict requirements. a story. both a con and pro, depends on player.

Frostpunk endgame is super difficult. If you dont have enough coal, you are screwed. Endgame is like apocalypse, everything starts going wrong. Your men start dying, hospitals are full, running out of coal to heat up everything, generator at max limit about to explode. I just barely made it in my playthrough, by the skin of my teeth.. lol
