Freeware for sound enhancement?

Hello friends!
I was looking for a free sound enhancement s/w for my PC. I have DFX9 for WMP. But it is a trial version.
So is there any freeware available. It would be nice if the s/w can work with games too.

hi saikiasunny,do you have realtek HD audio? if yes search for modded realtek driver with which you can install creative x-fi software which really provide a good surround sound and very good audio quality. you can also use SRS audio essential.

thanks for the reply bro. i need to check the realtek HD. BTW currently I'm currently using win7 w/o any sound driver.

welcome I can't provide you link because mods here are very strict search internet you will definitely find it out.I can tell you how to install those little bit tricky.
