four months old Cooler master 380W smps/psu

i have the default smps that comes with Iball grabbit... what watt is it how can i get to know??...
also currently i am able to use my 8800gts on it ..is it dangerous?? shud i get a higher watt smps soon..??
pls suggest .. !!

if the wattage is low you are not geting full output from graphic card and at times it can be dangerous, you may fry mobo or graphic card
open the case and see what wattage is the smps,
more than wattage amps on 12 v rails is important///for that you need a multimeter any electronic shp can tell you that..
i have 48A on 12 v rails , tagan psu
look for the pwer rewuirements of the graphic card from manufac site,
i really doubt if iball supplies a good company SMPS/PSU
tagan 600 w cost me 6k a month back

A single GeForce 8800 GTS requires you to have a 450 Watt power supply unit at minimum if you use it in a high-end system. That power supply needs to have (in total) at least 26 Amps available on the 12 volts rails........................

UR i ball SMPS have 17 amp on +12 rail, and ur geting only 12.164 amp on +12 rail with ur I Ball SMPS........

So, i think u should go for a new SMPS (only branded one).
