Is it negotiable or a fixed price?
I think the price is a bit on the steeper side.

pradeep you cant expect a fx5700 or 5900 for just 7000/- i will consider some discount if u r serious abt buying it :D .

and i will post this topic in the bazaar section again for the convinience of other users :eek:

Hi,
I got a ASUS GeForce4 Ti4400. It has 2.5 years of warranty from Zeta. Complete with box game and software CDs, bill, proof of purchase, manuals etc. It is in perfect condition, not much used. 275 core and 550 RAM (DDR). Purpe PCB and Silver heatsink with fan. Runs cool.

Price Rs. 7,900/-

If the buyer lives in Delhi, or Jaipur or Baroda (or nearby - western India), I will personally deliver the card, so that the buyer can test it and be satisfied. If the buyer lives elsewhere, we could arrange something.

A friend has got a Ti4200 for Rs. 7,200/-.

Ofcourse he can expect a Fx5700 pure version for 7k and a 5700LE for 5.4k. The prices quoted are way too steep, since the cards are available for 6.5k i guess.

EDIT: GEFORCE TI 4200 128MB for 4.9k

actually yeah .. the gf4 is a better card than an fx 5200 ... as in power wise
technology wise fx 5200 is better ... but it doesnt run that well

Yeah those 3dmark03 scores look a bit fishy, the fx5200 shud achieve more marks then the Ti since the fx is a DX9 card and the Ti isnt.

For the info of all users here ....i hav both the cards tested on same system and i hav displayed the scores as they were. Why dont ppl understand that although 5200 is one generation ahed of the ti series BUT THE CARD(5200) IS A LOW END CARD IN ITS SECTION .AND IT IS WEAKER THAN THE Ti SERIES. :x

blade_r man, you really need to read! architecture ain't worth jack, if the card is not powerful enough to implement the new features. I can bet anything you want that the ti series will outperform all 5700 pure (forget le). Go over to www.3dnews.ru and try to find a comparison of 80 gpus. They have it in an excel file. Highly informative. E.g.

Splinter Cell (1024)
--------------------
ti4200 = 27.9
5700 = 18.7

UT 2003
---------------------
ti4200 = 82.2
5700 = 72.2

of course, there are a lot more tests. Pradeep, the ti series still packs a good punch. If you have money to spare, do not go for anything less than the FX 5700 ultra (though, imho, it does not give good value for the money it demands) or the Radeon 9600XT.

I can mail the excel sheet to anyone that requires it.

The ti being offered is a good deal (you can negotiate a bit).

1, definately 1.

ok blade_runner, since you want scores, how about I mail you my 3DMark03 file? I got approx. 1850. I can also send a 3DMark03 report of a fx5200 on a 2.6c with 512 RAM with got less than 900 marks. a ti can get 12,000 marks in 3DMark 2001, while the fx5200 can barely manage 8000. I can prove all I am saying.

Also, playing doom3 or far cry on any FX less than a fx5700 ultra is like a kick to the groin :( . A Ti can handle even these newer games quite handily, and I have read reports that Half-Life 2 runs quite well on it (reports based on CS:Source)

Pradeep, you don't have to believe me. Ask around if you want. I can send you a lot of documents if you wish, but I think that you will prefer to find out yourself.

Pradeep, I won't recommend going for the FX series. Any FX below 5900 is a waste. Either go for the Ti series, or if your budget permits it go for the 9600XT.
