Firefox not downloading mp3 files

I am using fire fox 2.0 + ,before i installed i tunes it was working fine but after i installed it and 2 and more music software, when i click on any link of mp3 files in Internet meant for downloading , fire fox displays a apple tool bar and starts playing it instead of downloading. Even DAP (latest version) is of no help.

How can i restore it to back good days when it asked for save to disk or open it

disable apple toolbar... simple... see options... in the itunes...

Open "Tools -> Options" and goto "Content" tab. Click on "Manage" button in "File Types" section. Now double-click on "MP3" and select the option "Save them on my computer".
