you are right...it does consume a lot of memory...even firefox 2 does..my firefox 2.0.0.9 with just 2 tabs open and 3 extensions(downthemall, adblockplus and flashblock) consumes around 40mb..way too high..

the only reason i am with firefox is because of the extensions and its faster than IE...

well yeah... 2.0.0.9 is a memory hog itself.. 30 Mb + with just one tab open.. and no plugind :(

opera is anyday better.. fastest one out there, and comparitively low memory usage while browsing... though CPU usage is higher but CPU usage can be compromised for RAM...

and i only hav 256 mb :(

Btw, I found the theme in the addons section. It's called Proto: *addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6050

Does the close tab "x" at the right of the tab not bother you ?
