In explorer window Press Alt button on keyboard. It will show you the File toolbar - there you will get view option. Click on View and On view menu there is the "Sort By" option I think you're looking for.

just try open explorer window go to any folder (which have multiple files ) then press any alphabet keys on keyboard like press M . according to alphabet M folder name (Muisc) will select .....this function is disabled automatically on my windows 7 . how to activate ????

Might be a registry error. Create a new user/admin profile and recheck using that.
